Delicious food, great service in a supper club type setting. Entrees are huge. We had Chivken Parmesan and Brick Chicken, plus Greek salad. Everything was very tasty. Nice selection of wines.

We had birthday party here. The food was excellent and lots of it. Personel working are very nice and professional I like this place and definitely will come back.

this restaurant is my husband favorite Italian restaurant in Chicago. He was super excited when it reopened you walk in here. They treat you like family. Food is excellent. The service is outstanding. The owners are great, magnificent nothing but good words to say about this location.

The absolute best of the old school Italian restaurants in Chicago! My family ate here on Christmas Day and I think every single person that worked there stopped to wish us a Merry Christmas, they seemed genuinely happy that we were there. The servings are indeed huge, be prepared to take home leftovers. But the food is fresh and delicious. We all loved our meals including the HUGE slice of Christmas cake. A definite must-visit if you want a classic Chicago Italian restaurant experience with the kindest service in town.

Very happy they opened on Taylor Street again. I ordered something special; the Brick Chicken is a great dish. Seasoned, split and de-boned, then cooked flat in the oven. The skin is delicious and the meat is moist and tender. I heard from Pat Brickhouse this was one of Jack's favorites. I highly recommend it.

My boyfriend and I came here last night and had the most fabulous experience. The service was impeccable and the food was phenomenal. Every person working was friendly and attentive. Atmosphere was also lovely! The renovations are beautiful. We got the bruschetta, nonna’s gravy, spinach, chicken marsala, and banana cream pie. I would order everything again and will soon!

My wife and I had an incredible dinner at Rosebud on Taylor this past Saturday! We started with the Meatballs in Polenta, which were rich, tender, and full of flavor — the perfect start to the meal. For our entrées, we had the Chicken Parm and Shrimp Fra Diavolo, both cooked to perfection and bursting with authentic Italian flavor. We finished the night with cheesecake and espresso martinis, the perfect sweet ending to an unforgettable evening. Our server, Sara, was fantastic — friendly, attentive, and made the experience even better. The atmosphere was warm and classic, everything you’d hope for in a Chicago favorite. We’ll definitely be back!

My husband and I had dinner last Saturday to celebrate our anniversary. The food was delicious, and the service from our waiter was truly wonderful — everyone seemed to be working very hard to make sure guests were happy. What concerned me, however, was the behavior of a young gentleman who appeared to be a manager. He was speaking rather harshly to the staff in front of customers, which created an uncomfortable atmosphere. The team was doing their best, and I felt sorry to see them treated that way. Having spent many many years around the restaurant industry, I understand the pressures of the job — but kindness and respect always go a long way. I hope the management takes this as constructive feedback, because Rosebud truly is a lovely restaurant and I’d love to see it reflect that in every way.

Rosebud on Taylor Street is back! This place has so much history in Chicago and offers top notch Italian food and wine. They are open for lunch and dinner. If you like red wine, I highly recommend their Quilt cabernet sauvignon. They do a delicious grilled calamari which is off menu and make an excellent gluten free bolanese penne. Their staff is friendly and makes you feel at home, while also offering an environment conducive for business meetings.

Best on Taylor Street. I like the calamari and the veal.

Mladen is truly outstanding! He is incredibly knowledgeable, highly experienced, and one of the friendliest professionals you will ever meet. He genuinely cares for his customers and goes above and beyond to make you feel welcomed and valued. The food at Rosebud on Taylor is exceptional!! If you visit, do yourself a favor and ask for Mladen or make sure you are introduced to him. I promise, his service will elevate your entire dining experience and make it unforgettable. Highly recommended!

I love to visit Chicago. I've only been here one time and I've never been to Italy, but this place has the best gnocchi I've ever tasted. If you visit the Chi like me then this place is a must!

My wife and I were visiting Chicago for a music festival and were staying near little italy. We stumbled upon Rosebud, made reservations and gave it a go. The atmosphere is romantic and classy, the service was impeccable with precise timing of courses, and the food. I cannot say enough how authentic and delicious the food was. From the burrata starter, to the sea bass, to nana’s, to the tiramisu. Everything was spot on. I even left a hat there that had fallen under the table. The restaurant mailed it to me two days later. I will visit every time I am in Chicago.

Can not say enough about the reopening of Rosebud on Taylor. We have been there now 5 times since they reopened and it has not disappointed. We have sat at the bar, in the main restaurant, and the patio. The food is always great and the staff is super nice.

I use to come to Chicago on business years ago and always loved to eat at Rosebuds. This time I came as a tourist with my daughter and was so thrilled that my favorite restaurant was still here. My daughter always heard the stories of this fantastic food and she finally got to experience it for herself. Rosebuds did not disappoint! The food amazing, the staff fantastic and special thank you to the management for making our time there so special celebrating my birthday. Can't wait to come back, this time it won't be so long between visits. 🥰

I finally made it to Rosebud's and we were not disappointed. And our server, Theodora, was amazing. I had the eggplant and my cousins had sea bass and eight finger cavatelli. We also had cannoli. We will go back some day when they visit Chicago again.

I used to come here almost 30 years ago. Loved it then. I came back afraid it would not be as good. It had recently reopened. Looked familiar and the food and service (Tia) was great.

This place is exceptional, they're open till 4 pm, but they let us in. The food is beyond delicious, and the ambiance is excellent. Our server, Lorenzo, and the other staff were very attentive. Highly recommended outstanding service. Great for any occasion, elegant settings.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Highly recommend, great atmosphere, delicious authentic Italian food with fresh ingredients, and friendly staff. You may choose to sit outside in cute area with lighting and umbrellas or sit inside in a dim lit area with table lights and piano. Food is excellent, very flavorful with large portions & fresh ingredients. We made reservations online, and walked right in. We ordered the eggplant stack & Tiramisu. Excellent will be back

Great Italian place! Lovely waitstaff, good food, and a great romantic Italian restaurant vibe. I had the lasagna and was pleased that it was both tasty and just the right temperature to dive right in.

Came here with a friend for dinner and drinks and it was a great experience all around. The bartender was excellent and our drinks were on point. We shared the meatballs (filling and delicious) and the chopped breaded eggplant salad was huge and perfectly done. Cozy, intimate vibe that’s great for date night. Loved the baby grand piano, though there wasn’t live music the Wednesday we visited.

ROSEBUD ON TAYLOR IS BACK!!! So happy to hear it has reopened. I've traveled the world and eaten everywhere, but theres nothing like returning to a legendary Chicago establishment. All of the new school Chicago places need to visit the OG and take notes. The staff was accommodating for a last minute, late evening reservation. Not only did they stay the course as if we were the first customers of the day, we felt like we were eating in someone's home. The ambiance and decor nails everything you expect from white tablecloth Italian. The food? Everything we had was outstanding: Appetizers: Bruchetta, Minestrone, and Sausage and Peppers (tremendous) Drinks: Martinis and Shirley Temple's Entrees: The chicken cacciatore was phenomenal, the vodka rigatoni was superb, and the arrabiatta cavatelli was bursting with flavor with just the right amount of spicy. All of the pasta was cooked to perfection. The lamb chops could have used a little char, but were massive and melt in your mouth, paired witb a buttery, lemon sauce. Dessert: The tirimisu was decadent and fresh. Above all, great Italian food is measured by the SERVICE. Genuinely friendly, welcoming, and attentive service is what set Rosebud apart from so many great Chicago options. Massive portions, we took a ton home and enjoyed a great evening. Spread the word, the OG is back. Get there and experience Chicago dining at its finest

Service was unexplainable so great. They treat you like family if I had a chance to give 100 star rating I would The manager Eddie and all the crew members are fantastic. The food is cooked fresh the way they prep their food is fantastic. The way they cook it present it to you and your family. I would highly suggest that whoever sees this will go and experience fresh cooked Italian food in Chicago. They will treat you like family.

My family and I stopped in on their soft opening yesterday, and all I have to say is, wow! The food and service were absolutely amazing. The quality and care for each dish is next level. The staff from our waitress to the manager made us feel like family. I can't recommend this place enough. We will be back!

So the food here was amazing, the service is outstanding but keep in mind there is a dress code when you go in, and the Atmosphere was superb! Our Host name was John I believe and he was amazing he also said that he was from Indiana, witch happened to be where we where visiting from. I highly recommend this place.

The Rosebud is an old family favorite. The food is plentiful and the service is attentive but not overwhelming. The veal and chicken were fantastic with plenty leftover for the next day. Always a great experience.
